Taleweaver is a TTRPG blending storytelling, exploration, and strategy in a rules medium endurance game. Taleweaver promotes open-ended conflict resolution without missing out on the rewards or experience. 

A Unique Card Experience

Using a blend of tarot and playing cards, this one-of-a-kind game engine naturally blends narrative gameplay with card play conflict resolution. Every player takes on the role of a Traveler; a freelance adventurer seeking fulfillment in a dangerous profession. Every traveler holds relationships and motivations that drive them to venture further. Then, when the time is right, let them take the scene in narratively moments.

Explore Rich Narratives

The Taleweaver (The Game Master) uses a Tarot deck to issue challenges, provide narrative prompts, and generate encounters. The party will slowly uncover points of interest from a region they made (or one the Taleweaver has provided).

Build an immersive and narrative rich play area in minutes using a simple step process and a little imagination. Explore new areas. Build mechanically relevant relationships with other characters and factions.

More Than Just Combat

Not every encounter they come across will be a monster that must be slain. Navigate corrupt figures or earn the wrath of their faction. Scale mountains, navigate mazes, Climb giants! All while gaining rewards and experience.  

By using your skills, you gain experience in that skill! The actions you decide to use affect how your character develops.
